Had to do a re-install of icon packager and my utopia and orion icons - no problemo, had the disks and the registration letter...or so i thought It hung installed a couple and then I got an error msg that I had to reinstall Stardock Central. So I uninstalled everything and then uninstalled-reinstalled SC. Problem is, I kept getting this msg that "Windows is loading Quick Projects..." then it stalls, asks me for a disc (Iput my OB Desktop disc in) and it tells me there is nothing there and then I have to cancel and stuff just doesn't install right! Anybody have a clue?? I have been at this for two days now and I am tired of reinstalling/uninstalling

Have you run a complete virus scan on your computer?
Try doing that and see if it comes up with something.

Odd. Google didn't find the text string you are getting. And no mention of spyware or virii.
Wish I could help.

It's gone now...but did a clean install of everything - must have been a glitch in my system. Odd thing is that my glassy clock (adni) and my victorian clock no longer have hands even though I re-downloaded and re-installed them. Now that is a mystery!

Missing hands has been reported with DX3. We wait for a fix (or go digital).

.....rigth....aliens. Anyway it might have been adware? Did you do a check for adware? This is a good free adware checker. I use it all the time. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ Just in case u ever get it again.

Mystery solved!!! Quick Projects is something associated with my HP printer...a something that I have obviously never used. It's part of the HP Image Zone (also something I have never used) that must not have installed properly. This little annoyance is now fixed. Thanks for all the help and advice.
